Who are these programs for?
AARP Foundation employment programs are designed to help those over age 50 living on a limited or low income. If you’ve been struggling to land a job and living on a tight budget, one of our programs may be right for you. You don’t have to be an AARP member to benefit.

Who provides the training?
Our free programs are led by AARP Foundation or trusted local partners in your community. You’ll work with professional career coaches and experts who specialize in working with jobseekers over 50 — and understand the challenges they face.
AARP Foundation SCSEP is funded by a $46,889,529 grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. This funding provides 90% of the support for SCSEP, with AARP Foundation matching 10%.
